Pickle Paper Patch – April Scrapbooking Kit (with layout)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day everyone!!

I’m currently on my way to my first ever crafty crop… nerves have kicked in but I’m also very very excited. I know that there are going to be some lovely ladies there, some I’ve never spoken to and others who I have spoken to online and can’t wait to meet.

Last week I had an amazing delivery from Pickle Paper Patch which really did has exceeded my expectations!!

A couple of weeks ago, I woke to a surprise announcement that I had won a giveaway hosted by Pickle Paper Patch which I had entered. The day of the announcement, their monthly scrapbooking kit was also launched which I had to order as soon as I saw it.

Firstly, here is the photograph which was shared on the giveaway post… it is all beautiful and fantastic quality products too.

You can find Pickle Paper Patch on Facebook, by clicking ‘this link’.

Next I began to open my April monthly scrapbooking kit and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!! Jane has excelled herself… the packaging is stunning, the products are fantastic and beautiful and the free gift included with early kit purchases is so thoughtful.

Everything within the parcel I received is superb and I can see this being a regular scrapbook kit in my collection. I am so so happy.

As soon as I saw this kit and had it in my hands I knew that it would be perfect for scrapbooking a photograph of my late Mum which was taken in her youth, the soft colours, the feathers, the rose gold butterfly and the flowers were just spot-on. Particularly the butterfly as my Mum’s favourite jewellery was rose gold.

I wanted to keep this layout relatively simple to allow the products to speak for themselves, everything within this layout was from my April kit and I hope you all like what I’ve done with it.

I would highly recommend checking out Pickle Paper Patch’s website and see for yourself how reasonably priced and wonderful quality their products are!!

You can find the Pickle Paper Patch monthly kits here on their website:

Have a wonderful day everyone and I hope you all manage to fit in some crafty time!!

Scrapbooking #HugsForNoah’s 2017 Gala Dinner

As today is National Scrapbook Day it seems only fitting to start today’s blog with a few layouts I have created with some very special memories from a wonderful event we attended in March 2017.

On Saturday 4th March 2017 we traveled to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne for the annual Hugs For Noah Gala Dinner which was held at St James’ Park – an absolutely wonderful evening of great company, delicious food and excellent entertainment.

As you can see from the photographs, everyone who attended had a fabulous evening… we can’t wait for the next one!!!

You can read Noah’s story by visiting his #HugsForNoah website or by following them on Facebook.

Ugly Bug Does – August Subscription Box (Rockabilly)

This months planner subscription box from Ugly Bug Does has a fabulous rockabilly theme.

My subscription box arrived yesterday and I am absolutely delighted with everything in it. I really do love Michelle’s work 🙂

As always our subscription kit comes beautifully packaged in a quality striped paper bag, sealed with pretty washi tape:

The first thing I found when I opened the bag was my gorgeous personal planner sized rockabilly rebel dashboard – I love it!!! The drawing on these dashboards is so perfect and I love her tattoos!!

There is also a fabulous sticker set which I will use between in both my personal planner and Happy Planner, the designs of these are fab and I love the colour scheme:

Next is a beautiful felt embroidered diamond planner clip and a stunning personalised leather disk with my initial “L” tattoo’d on and a cherry metal charm:

We also got some fab mini post its which will be great in my personal planner for little notes as sometimes ‘normal’ post its are just too big and get in the way. I love the colours and designs on these 🙂

Last but by no means least is two rolls of gorgeous washi tape – one rolls is grey with white spots, the second is yellow with white stripes. This washi is a little bit narrower than a lot of the washi I have but not as narrow as slimline washi, so is perfect to use in all of my planners!

All in all, I am a very very happy planner addict and I can’t wait to start using this kit… I already have the dashboard and planner charm in my Websters Pages walnut personal planner and they look fab 😀

If you would like to support a fellow small business and order yourself some gorgeous planner goodies then pop over to visit Ugly Bug Does…

I’m sure Michelle’s business will continue to grow and expand as the quality of her products are fantastic, her customer service is excellent and everything she sells is great value for money!!!

Hope everyone is having a fab week!!
